PAID SUBMISSIONS:
Some directories and search engines charge a
review fee, they will consider your site within a certain period of time
(between 48 hours and 7 days depending on the directory). We can arrange
for submissions to these directories should you require it, the additional
cost would be to the clients account.
As for the pay per click biddings, you could
spend thousands per month to be in just one search engine on the first
page, or you could enlist us for a fraction of that cost and be highly
ranked in many of the top search engines.

Certain
search engines and directories have started charging for submissions,
please note that our rates do not include for submission to these
directories although we are able to arrange submissions at an
additional cost. The following are the latest prices available.
US$ 299 (annual fee) - this does
not guarantee acceptance, but does guarantee that your site will be
reviewed within 7 days. There is one chance at rectifying any problems
with the site and re-submitting at no extra cost. Submissions to
regional listings are still free at this stage, in our experience
though, Yahoo is not adding even these sites, a paid submission seems
to be the only way to get into the directory. Yahoo still attracts the
lions share of search engine traffic, definitely worth a listing.
LookSmart has more than
one submission option rates
vary between US$149 and US$299. This directory supplies
results to numerous other search engines, so it could be worthwhile
obtaining a listing.
Overture has a unique system of ranking.
Sites wishing to appear in the directory "bid" for keywords or
phrases, the highest bidder for a particular phrase gets # 1 position,
the next highest bidder # 2, etc, etc. Overture has recently taken
over the Go Network/Infoseek and Iwon, they also supply results to
several search engines so are likely to corner an even greater share
of search engine traffic than they already have. Also a worthwhile
place to get noticed.
Google's Premium Sponsorships allow you to
purchase highly targeted advertising on the most relevant search
engine on the Web. No more than two enhanced text links appear at the
top of the Google results page whenever the keywords or phrases you
have purchased are searched for by one of our users.
They boast
the only keyword-based advertising network on the Web. With over 50
million unique users across the entire Ask Jeeves Keyword Network.
AltaVista offers a wide range of
advertising opportunities to
drive traffic to your site. They have one of the cheapest and fastest
Express inclusions available, at $39 for every 6 months using
InfoSpider. But mind you that this still only gets you in. It's up to
your content as to your rank.
An Inktomi Partner
with GUARANTEED 48 hour inclusion to Altavista, HotBot, Inktomi,
Looksmart, MSN, whatUseek, WebWombat, Slider, Corporate Yahoo and
other search engines. They have varying prices that can add up for all
of the choices of search engine inclusions. Here again this only gets
you in and it's up to your content as to where you rank.
